RESTYLANE® is a gel containing hyaluronic acid and lidocaine, injected by a healthcare professional into or below the skin to smooth facial wrinkles and enhance lips by restoring volume and fullness. Restylane® is a Class III medical device with risks and benefits. It may cause redness, swelling, pain, tenderness, itching, or bruising, which may last a few days. Rarely, inflammatory reactions may occur up to 2–4 weeks post-treatment. Consult your healthcare professional if side effects concern you. Avoid excessive sunlight or extreme cold until redness or swelling subsides. Do not use Restylane® in areas with non-resorbable implants, irritated or infected skin, or in individuals taking blood-thinning medicines or with allergies to hyaluronic acid, lidocaine, or other local anaesthetics.
