Hyalase Corrective Treatment

Dermal Filler Dissolution

Hyalase Corrective Treatment is a non-surgical procedure that dissolves unwanted hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers. Using hyaluronidase, this treatment is effective for addressing overfilling, asymmetry, or complications such as lumps, helping to restore natural facial contours with minimal downtime.

Essential Treatment Information

  • Hyalase contains hyaluronidase, an enzyme that breaks down hyaluronic acid within dermal fillers. This treatment is used to reverse or adjust previous filler results by injecting the enzyme into the affected area. Results are typically noticeable within 24–48 hours, with full breakdown of the filler occurring over one to two weeks. A patch test may be required for individuals with a history of allergies.

    • Adults who have previously received HA-based dermal fillers

    • Individuals experiencing overfilling, asymmetry, lumps, or vascular complications

    • Not suitable for individuals with non-HA fillers or allergies to hyaluronidase

    • A consultation is required to confirm suitability

    • Avoid alcohol and blood-thinning medications (e.g., aspirin, ibuprofen) for 48 hours prior

    • Arrive with clean skin, free of makeup and lotions

    • Inform your practitioner of your filler history and any allergies

    • Mild swelling or redness may occur for 24–48 hours

    • Apply a cold compress as needed

    • Avoid makeup and strenuous activity for 24 hours
