Essential Treatment Information

  • Dermapen 4 uses a medical-grade device with 16 ultra-fine needles to create thousands of controlled microchannels in the skin. These micro-injuries trigger the body’s natural repair process, promoting the production of collagen and elastin. The device penetrates up to 2.5mm, allowing for precision treatment with reduced discomfort compared to traditional microneedling. Each session typically lasts 45–60 minutes and includes skin preparation, numbing (if needed), microneedling, and post-treatment care with a calming mask.

additional Information

  • For general skin rejuvenation, a series of 3 treatments spaced 4–6 weeks apart is recommended. For scar reduction, 4–6 sessions may be needed. Results develop progressively, with visible improvement often seen after the first session and continuing for up to 6 months. Maintenance treatments can be scheduled annually.

  • This treatment is not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
It may not be appropriate for individuals with active acne or rosacea, severe eczema or psoriasis, open wounds or recent surgical procedures in the treatment area, active hepatitis, HIV, or herpes simplex outbreaks, a history of keloid or atrophic scarring, skin cancer, abnormal lesions, autoimmune conditions, or delayed wound healing.
A consultation is required to determine clinical suitability.

  • Most clients describe the sensation as tolerable, especially with numbing cream. Discomfort varies depending on treatment depth.

  • Enhance results by pairing Dermapen 4 with LED therapy, chemical peels, or Botulinum Toxin for comprehensive rejuvenation. Your practitioner can recommend the best plan for your skin goals.
